Madam Tussauds, Sydney - tentatively related to Saint Ambrose (Patron Saint of Wax workers)

Madame Tussauds Sydney

I have been lucky enough to have visited a few Waxworks around the World, however, probably the best to date has been the one in Sydney.  Compared to London for example, it is so much more relaxed, there are a lot of interactive waxworks and most you can get close to for photo’s etc.

We visited in August of 2017, Ben had come over to Perth, Australia on his own as Pippi was off on her adventures in Borneo.  We decided to take a few days in Sydney, and of course visited the Opera House – we even saw an Opera in there.

Taronga Zoo was fabulous, the Giraffe’s there have the best view in the World – overlooking the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, and of course we had to go to Bondi Beach, although I thought many of the beaches close to Perth are better.

One day we set aside for the Aquarium, Madam Tussauds and Wildlife Sydney which is a small zoo- but actually also very good, we were convinced the lady doing the talk on the crocodile was going to get eaten in front of our eyes (she survived), but the crocodile was looking very ‘hungry’.

Anyway, back to the waxworks, we ‘met’ everyone from Spiderman to Gandhi, Kylie Minogue, Steve Irwin, Alfred Hitchcock, Johnny Depp to ET, there were no huge queues and it was a delight to experience.
