Singleton 12 year Old
Singleton has always been up there as one of my favourite single
Malts. It is an easy drinking whisky, that has some sweeter tastes.
I would certainly recommend Singleton to new whisky drinkers.
Singleton started in 1897 in Dufftown (Speyside) and is currently
owned by Diageo, along with several other distilleries. I visited in
around 2004 I think, anyway what does Singleton have to say about its 12-year-old?
“Our 12-year-old single malt scotch whisky is matured in
a high proportion of American oak casks with a small portion of European oak
casks to balance the liquid. The result is an easy to enjoy single malt with
fresh fruit aromas, a sweet honeyed palate, and a creamy lingering finish.”
