Singleton 12 year Old

Singleton 12 year Old

Singleton has always been up there as one of my favourite single Malts.  It is an easy drinking whisky, that has some sweeter tastes.  I would certainly recommend Singleton to new whisky drinkers.
Singleton started in 1897 in Dufftown (Speyside) and is currently owned by Diageo, along with several other distilleries.  I visited in around 2004 I think, anyway what does Singleton have to say about its 12-year-old?

Our 12-year-old single malt scotch whisky is matured in a high proportion of American oak casks with a small portion of European oak casks to balance the liquid. The result is an easy to enjoy single malt with fresh fruit aromas, a sweet honeyed palate, and a creamy lingering finish.
